| Vice Minister Gao Hucheng Goes to Guangdong ESQUEL Group for Investigation and Study |

On Oct 16, the second day after 100th session Canton Fair opened, Vice Minister Gao Hucheng came from Guangzhou to Fushan on a special visit to Guangdong ESQUEL Group,the chairman unit of CAEFI Textile and Clothing Sector Committee, for investigation. Vice Director Che Kedao made particular report and introduction to Vice Minister Gao over the operation pattern from cotton planting, spinning, weaving, garment manufacturing to export and sales. Vice Minister Gao looked around technical flow in main workshop of ESQUEL Group later.
During the talks, Mr. Gao fully recognized such work done by ESQUEL Group as, highly attaching great importance to environment protection, paying attention to labors’ rights, implementing social responsibility, and supporting social commonweal. He hoped ESQUEL Group to do better and stressed that China’s textile export was not dumping overseas, but producing top grade products.
Vice Director of Department of Foreign Trade, Liu Xinhua, Vice Director of China Foreign Trade Centre, Mu Xinhai, Chairman of China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Textiles, Wang Shenyang, and Vice Chairman of CAEFI, Liu Wanzhong accompanied Mr. Gao on the investigation and study. Mr. Gao noted specially that Mr. Wang Shenyang should organize Chinese and foreign funded enterprises in domestic textile and garment industry to go for a study tour in ESQUEL Group
