Minister Gao Hucheng Holds Talks with H.E. Mr. Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz, Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of the Republic of Cuba
On the morning of December 2, Minister Gao Hucheng holds talks with H.E. Mr. Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz, Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of the Republic of Cuba. The two exchange views on issues concerning China-Cuba cooperation on IPR protection, Chinese business investment in Cuba, financing cooperation and settlement by RMB. The two sides will push forward to implement the consensus in trade and economic areas reached during President Xi Jinping’s visit to Cuba in July 2014 and on Premier Li Keqiang’s visit in September 2016, further deepen China-Cuba trade and economic relations and consolidate the basis of bilateral relations. In recent years, China-Cuba bilateral cooperation in trade and economic areas has maintained sound momentum of development. Cuba has become China’s largest trading partner in Caribbean area. In addition, positive progress has been made on financing cooperation, two-way investment and project contracting.
